Landfill Rehabilitation: Porepunkah

Client: Alpine Shire Council

We have delivered multiple back-to-back projects for Alpine Shire Council, including the recent completion of Stage 2 of the Porepunkah Landfill Rehabilitation.

The project involved the construction of a  fully engineered landfill cap system across multiple landfill cells within an operational transfer station, requiring technical precision and compliance, careful staging and coordination to minimise disruption to ongoing site operations.

The scope of works included bulk earthworks, subgrade preparation, installation of a geosynthetic clay liner, landfill gas and leachate infrastructure, stormwater drainage, hardstand construction, revegetation, and full quality assurance certification.

The works were delivered in close collaboration with Council, with a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance, and maintaining uninterrupted operation of the facility throughout construction.
